Calculation of Capital gain Tax
My assessee is resident in INDIA since 2001 having bank account in USA. He has purchased and sold foreign securities in US$ attracting short term capital gain .. how do i calculate the same..I mean to ask whther calculate the capital gain amount in US$ and den convert into INR on 31.03 or convert buying amount * buying rate on that day and Seeling amount * sell rate and den calculate profit!!!!
pls lemme know which rates are to be taken
