Agreed with u all... But few things i disagree...

First, i dont think that our stipends are not enough to meet our expenses... I mean c'omn guys, do u want to say that ur monthly conveynce expenses > ur stipend of 1000 (an average).... Moreover, how can u get time to spent even>???

But yes, the labour we provide, considering that our stipend is not at all worthy... The permanent staff in the offic hav priorities for not doing work, but we being articles, have to do every job (for the sake of learning).. and for that we get just Rs. 1000....

So, for meeting regular expenses, i think stipend is not at all low... But yes, its not sufficient for the work we produce, not at all...

Even if dey think

der cannot b major hike in current levels

n also dey hv lots of issues under der guide

wich shud b enforced steadily

i think dey shud consider updation of modules n compilation n shud bring out pcc compilation soon

ICAI Should consider the Stipend limit...  Now ICAI COURSE HAS BECOME LIKE ENGINEERING.. WE ARE SHEDDING LOT OF MONEY FOR REGISTRATION , CLASSES, EXAM FEES ETC..

JUST THINK OF PEOPLE WHO SUFFER TO BUY BOOKS.. MINIMUM COST IS rS. 500/- Per book.. CA FIRMS ALSO SHOULD CONSIDER THIS AND TAKE A GOOD STEP TOWARDS THIS

Artcleship training is not a job dat we people r doin,its a trainin 4 we people obligd by d istitue 2 gain d knowledge 4 our future reference...so der sud nt arise ne matr of money in case f trainin..its a ICAI obligation on our prinicipals to train us,to arrange place 4 us in such a costly infrastructure rates...

In MBA institutes,people pay 4 trainin..i mean they pay 4 2 yr course n here we r gettin in return,,,

CA is such a cheap n globalised course,so we sudnt consider ne money matr in d course f our articlesip trainin.

YES I really think that Our ICAI should think about stipend sincerely

              As they are increasing our REGISTRATION & EXAM FEES  They Should also increase our MINIMUM STIPEND

I think they should consider RESULTS ISSUE

When u expect 70 marks in Tax and end up getting 39, its WORST.  What will u do with the stipend if u r held up in the same exam until the final attempt of that exam ? Of course,they should increase the stipend but should also increase the passing %. Just look at the stats of last two attempts and u will know what i mean.

Yes Kashap i agree with ur view ..........................ICAI should make its marking pattern more transparent especially in AUDIT n TAX paper
