Ca's should do something for this

One  should be honest its profesiosan, and ICAI should not react because it is on professional spirit.

We should not forget professional ethics as well

So far as my knowledge goes ( it does go after all ),Institute of Chartered Accountants of India lobbied for this name and raised objection to the name change from ICWAI to ICMAI for the Institute. The President of ICWAI went almost demented for this and wrote a letter to the Govt. expressing his disapproval of the way things were dealt with at the highest level. But it is clear that his most commendable efforts went in vain.

This is indirectly corroborated by the fact that Cost Accountants will now use the abbreviations ACMA and FCMA as and where applicable whereas their Insitute will be abbreviated as ICAI.

It's a war that should have been averted at all cost.
