Is it mandatory to have Firm no. (FRN) to audit a balance sheet or a CA sign balance sheet withou mentioning FRN no. i.e. in individual capacity

A Chartered Accountant practicing in individual name can sign a Balance Sheet in his individual name. Since he is practicing in individual name there will be no question of FRN. Hence FRN is not mandatory.
