How are you all feeling? Must be tensed with the examination preparations and the way preparation period is getting lesser day by day. I have prepared a compilation for the case laws which has been hosted by ICAI’s Student News letter between October 2010 to August 2011 (only portion relevant for November 2011 exams)
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENT FOR ALL NOVEMBER 2011 FINAL STUDENTS AS AT LEAST 10-15 MARKS CAN COME DIRECTLY FROM THESE CASE LAWS.
It is hopeful that ICAI will compile and host it as well in the month of October 2011, which will include all of the above case laws for sure.
This compilation includes Case laws and Circulars/notification in DIRECT and INDIRECT TAX LAWS printed in student newsletter in that period.
Please Note:
1. Apart from SELECT CASES 2011 (Publication of ICAI for case laws took placed in 2010) you also have to prepare yourself for the cases which took place between October 2010 to April 2011. The hon’ble ICAI will hopefully upload these case laws which are relevant for NOV 2011 exams in the first fortnight of OCTOBER 2011 which will include most of the cases discussed above. Hence prepare these well until that uploading by ICAI.
2. NOTIFICATION/CIRCULARS ISSUED ON and PRIOR TO 30.04.2011 ARE ONLY RELEVANT FOR NOVEMBER 2011 EXAMINATIONS.
3. Few of the cases discussed here will also be in select case laws 2011 so kindly don’t read them twice from here.
4. Also refer The Amendment in laws which took place through notification/circulars between these periods which is published at the back of RTP for November 2011 of second group.
