Piyush, You can get it signed from any other CA not necessarily the prinicipal( i.e, the CA under whom you have registered)... It is permitted, you can ask institute if you want...

such candidates may take a demand draft for the prescribed amount in favour of Secretary, ICAI payable at New Delhi and submit a letter on white paper indicating their name, address, mobile number, registration number and specify the exam and group in which they intend to appear duly verified by his Principal or any other Chartered Accountant.

make your form sign with another CA and submit it as early as possible.all the best for the exams.

Instead of taking some other's sign take the sign of any office bearer like Chairman, Ex-chairman or any other person of such post. I also did the same thing & no problem was faced.

Hi piyush. First get sign from some other member as it is said. Later, after the exams, complain to institute for not signing form - thereby not allowing you to take up examinations. He can be held guilty for "other misconduct" as per chartered accountants act. Principals' atrocitiy are rising day by day. We seriously lack a strong students union.

You can get the forms signed by some other CA or gazetted officer.

Hello, prathik, we can take by any other CA, u can see in the exam form itself... it does not say any where to be signed from a Ca, it only says to be signed by the member of the institute. In fact, one of my friends has done like that only and sent and we confirmed it from institute of bangalore also...
