18 January 2012CA is no more a tough course. Pass percentage is very high and it is getting higher and higher!!
Guys lets discuss this. Whether this is a good trend or a bad trend.
My personal opinion - This is not good for the profession becuase salaries and respect for a CA pass out is going to come down heavily and for those who opt for practice under cutting and malpractice is going to increase in a big way to survive!

please dont spoil this platform, its on icai , and icai have proper minds to decide what is good or what is bad

Mr Rajeev and You should accept the fact that students are now studying so hard to gain fruits which cant be curtailed in any way

Prince Kaushik thanks for the response.
What i felt is those who are at the top of ICAI changes policy every year and keep changing carriculam every now and then at their whims and fancy.
During last campus selection there were so many pass outs who dint make into a decent company.
ICAI conducted a second campus where the average salary offered was around 3 lakh which a B.Com graduate earns after a year in industry.
And for those who are in practice, bad news because they will have copromise their independence and integrety for the sake of competeion. Quality of the work will also get affetced as under cutting is wide spread
I think another cost Accountant ,even on results day not in mode , let CA celebrate the sucess ,they have afte hardwork and dedication. The fruit of past activiteis will result in the future , time is most changeable in the universe. Today recessioany economy is prevailing , tommoroww, you all CA will have boom period,
ICAI has no things to do with economy and results , its is GOI policy ,international market ,financial conditions ,so on.

nothing is tuff unless u make it...ppl said..v cant fly..wright bros made aircraft...ppl said v cant communicate faster thn letters..bell/bose invented telephone,wireless comm.systems...ppl said music cant get better thn tapes...stevejobs did amazing jobs with apple products...ppl said,horses /some animals are only solution for travelling..ford invented internal combustion machine which lead to car...ppl said earth was flat...whomsoevr proved it wrong..ppl said v cant go to moon..v did it...
moral...they r jus proof tht v can achieve nything...
c.a syllabus more or less remained same from its inception...its the mass ppl who were weak in mind,made it tough...
if u feel u cant crack c.a,u wont..if u think,u will...our brains are made like tht...
c.a is tuff or easy course is bull sh*t discussion n its variable...its always knowledgable n beautifull course...this is fixed...
