You can't have the same name as another CA firm that is already registered with ICAI. As karthick has mentioned above you will be need to check your firm name availability through ICAI.
There will be a Form No. 117 for Firm Name request designed by ICAI. You will need out to fill and submit online. As well as you will be also required to submit the hard copy of Form 117 which should be duly signed by proprietor/partners within 5 days. You may also send the scan copy of Form 17 with duly signed by proprietor/partners through an email.
This form clearly mentions the act of Regulation 190 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, under which:
- A name of firm will be restricted if a proprietor / partners has already the firm with same name.
In case, if you are funding for your CA firm, you may get help from here.
