CA Finals in MAY 2011 : Study strategy

Hello friends,

My Ca finals were initially due in Nov 2011, but now I am elegible for appearing in exams in May 2011 as well. My coaching for Accounts (from Parveen Sir) nd SFM would be complete by this October mid. I havnt taken up any other subject (no coaching or self study) other than A/Cs nd SFM till date.

Now, I want to take up the exam for both the groups in May 2011 at the same time I am not keen on taking up any more tutions coz lot of time wud be wasted.

Friends nd seniors can u pls tell me some strategy for exams in MAY 2011,(like the ample time I shud give to each subject, I do not want to skip the topics or cut short the syllabus).

Wud it be a mistake to try for both the groups or is it managable even if I start at this point ?

Please reply ..I dont hav much time.

I wud also like to know the rules for getting exemption in exam...

Dear Ruchi

U have enough time to write theexam in may 2011.... if u r undergng articles u spend atleast 4 hours a day provided the 4 hours is effective and take 4 different subjects preferably theory and problem paper alternatively every hour.......

Do recall after 45 to 50 min of studies for 5 to 10mins........

Try to study all papers with doing separate notes which will be helpful while doing revision.

The study leave u get try to only revise all subjects so u should ensure that all subjects u studied perfectly atleast once or twice..........

For problem papers practice is must....... be touch with the subjects which u are gng for coaching class........

I think this much will help u to get even a rank in ca exams..............

Dear ruchi

Now you have 8 month time for preparation. 8 month time is sufficient for both group preparation.

You have to make balance study (i.e you spend your time equally for practical and theoritical both)

you must see 4 paper in 1 days.

If you are doing article ship then try to take leave of min. 3 month and follow the deepak's strategy for preparation. you will get benefited.

Hi,

U can avil exemption only in 1 sub of particular grp. and it is also require that u should hav been appear in all other papers of that grp. U can avail exemption for three succeeding attempts. so, if u get exemption is may 2011 then upto nov 2012. IF u hav exemption in 2 sub. of one grp. then u hav to make application that i want to avail exemption in this sub.
