Hello,
I have recently re-validated my registration which was set to expire in Oct'16.
your registration has to be valid at the time of exam. better get it revalidated what it requires... 1. Application in the format available on ICAI website 2. DD of Rs. 500.

since your registration is valid you can apply for exam. however, it will not take more than 15 days to re-validate.
