Dear all,

For the last few days, I have been getting a plenty of PM wanting me to share few strategies as regards CA Final Preparation. I am sharing my experience here.

1. My Biggest Mistake:

a) Taking Cost Classes from Alok Sir @ Kolkata: With due respect to Alok Sir, I was not compatible with his way of teaching. I got 62 in cost in PCC but 48 in finals (Roll 173205).

b) Owing to Time Constraints, I could not take classes for IDT.

c) I was unable to understand ISCA concepts properly.

d) No planning for REVISIONS.

2. My Strength:

a) Excellent writing skills, it fetched me 60 in Audit, 61 in Law and 60 in DT.

b) Good articleship exposure.

c) Constant guidance and motivation from seniors.

3. Few Suggestions:

a) Attempt both groups if you have 3 - 4 month time to prepare.

b) Plan Revisions properly.

c) Solve problems by hand (Accounts, SFM, Cost)

d) Pay special attention on Ethics (Audit), AS.

e) Get an idea of past trends via scanner.

f) RTP, Supplemetary is hot cake...must be referred.

g) Involve in group study, only if you find it worthy.

h) Not more than 3 subjects in 1 day..

i) Nite study  better option.

j) Take atleast 4 month leave from office.

4. Exam Hall Tips:

a) Dont Panic, Stay calm, Read the full paper in reading time.

b) Start with the problem you find the most comfortable one. It gives a nice impression.

c) Try attempting 85+ in practical papers and 90+ in theory.

Hope you will find the above helpful.

Waiting for comments.

Regards,
