Yes i understand your concern. As per your age and responsibilities i suggest you to go for single group only,
Strategy for you:
just pick up your favourate subject from the group you have selected. Prepare only 1 subject and get atleast 75 marks, do not study other subjects. just go and appear for exams. And in next attempt you can clear the group just by doing minimal preparation of other subjects.
Even if many people will oppose this i suggest you to mug up ICAI material and practice manual for that favourate subject. revise it 5 times.
Now ICAI strategy has been changed, you have to follow ICAI material only to pass. so dont buy other books just download or purchase following for your favourate subject:
1) ICAI Module
2) Practice manual
3) RTP from 2011
4) Suggested answers for atleast 6 exams or more.
Go reverse way, first mug up suggested answers, then mug up RTP, then go for practice manual and at last read ICAI module. If you first read ICAI module then you will feel boared and may not complete the syllabus. so always study in reverse way.
formula = Read + mug up by closing eyes + write it down = storing contents in your brain.
God bless you. and i appreciate your desire to become CA even after so much responsibilties. Just go ahead and start preparation.
