Hello..my attempt for CA final is May 18(old course) and i m having query about direct tax paper..ICAI has announced following notification regarding syllabus of DT for may 18 and nov 18 for old and new course

In this notification, ICAI said that chapter 6,7,8 of module 4 of DT will not be applicable for old course..but for new course it is applicable..my query is, how old and new course holders will be identified in examination..?? Is paper for both old and new course holders will be different for Direct taxes?? I mean what about paper for old course holders for these 3 chapters??

There will be different papers for old and new course. And there will be provision to mention it in the exam form as well I think. Seats will also be allocated accordingly. But the papers will definitely be different since there are changes in the sylabbus.

Fr wholly change, sfm wholly change, law change, Ama change, Dt Include international taxation and elective paper instead of isca... Just go through new course syllabus then u urself find it... That what is the difference between old and new course
