ca final law director related question

a public co has 15 directors and now the bod wants to appoint additional director does it req to take SR ???

OR ADD director are not to be counted in total ... i.e a company can have any number of add directors ??

same thing relate to 2 more cases i.e alternate director and nominee director and ans ...
