Quoting the right section is important, if you don't know or in a state of confusion, it is better not to quote a wrong section, this will create negative impression on the examiner and in the end lead to unnecessary curtailment of marks.
Thus, quote a section only if you are cent percent sure, else write the relevant substance of the section, that suffices.
