Ca final indirect tax self study
I am appearing for group 2 this may 13. I haven't touched IDT yet. How should I go about it? Please give some tips & suggestions. Give ABC analysis if possible.

As time is running i am referring Yaswant mangal sir book . It is short concise full coverage easy langugage ..

Standard topics from Bangar should suffice.

Give importance to Numerical problems as it can fetch you 25 marks in the Examination.

Go through the supplementary material for Amendments, recent Case Laws module along with latest Circulars and Notifications.
- Revise the latest Practice Manual and RTP.

Read Following:
- Case Laws ( approx. 80-100 covered by ICAI-----Nov. 2012 + May 2013 )
- Amendments ( For May Exam 2013, it covers a huge portion of Service tax)
- Practice Mannual ( Personally, I never suggest to read Practice mannual of IDT at all because ICAI Practice manual are not updated or revised )
- RTP (latest)
- Numerical Problems ( For this, U must have read and understand each and every provision)
- Entire Service Tax Book (must for May 2013 Exam )
