See According to the new notification issued by ICAI.... u can give ur final examination before the 6 months of your articleship completion date...it means...that

The minimum eligibility requirement(s) for appearing in the Final

Examination scheduled to be held in November, 2010 and thereafter, in respect

of a candidate registered as a student of the Professional Competence Course

(PCC) shall be completion of the practical training as is required for admission as

a member on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which

the examination is held (i.e. 31st October, 2010 for the November, 2010

examination) or has been serving the last six months of practical training,

including excess leave, if any, on the first day of the month in which the

examination is held (i.e. 1st

November, 2010 for the November, 2010

examination).”  

and in ur case.... 6 months prior date to he last date of completion our articleship is sep 26.......so u r elligible...for appearing in nov,2010 final exam..
