Bro its better to take a tuition or get the CD of VG sir.
I would heavily advice you to go for the tuitions because the A.Y is changing so go for tuitions.
If u have a good track record in self study for practical subjects, then you may go for self study as well.
Just mind one thing that here self study will require twice or thrice the time which you think it would take you to complete the whole syllabus.

For Self Study Vinod K Singania is best book.
It takes little bit extra time. But it is worth studying. You should start your study at the earliest.

Get vinod gupta sir Assigments .. They are self explainetory and good for self study. For revision refer T G Suresh (BEST for revision) very concise book for exam it can be completed easily.

My suggetion is Stick to One author. Otherwise you will get confused.

For DT, modules of Vinod Gupta sir are Best for self study...it contains very good explanations of topics,so easily understandable...

VK Singhania is the best book for self study and conceptual clarity. It may take a bit more time, but will certainly will be a great help for clearing the exams and professional knowledge as well.

@ Nikhil,
Don't go for phot copy (xerox). VG's modules collectively contains nearly 1500 to 1600 pages.
there won't be much price difference of photo copy and original book
