CA Final ( Direct Taxes)--Help Required--Urgent

Dear All,

I am appearing for CA ( Final) Group 2 examination. I require some help on the "Direct Taxes" subject.
I left my CA final in 2003. I again decided to pursue CA ( final) from this year.

The subject-Direct Taxes is too vast. Also, I am not prepared as did not get adequate time to study bcos of job.

Please suggest or share your valuable suggestions and list down important topics to covered in 1 day so as to clear DT.
If you can share any specific notes on very important chapters from examination point of view, that would be awesome.

I understand that there is no shortcut to success and i need to reappear for group 2 again in Nov '11. However, I need to do justice to the DT exam on saturday, so, really want to study whatever i can. Please help and suggest. Any help from anyone would be highly appreciated. I must say that the group members have been very helpful always and I am really thankful to all of you who are part of this community.

In my opinion it is not possible to list down important topics to covered in 1 day so as to clear DT.

Friend....U need to take exam oriented Approach as the time period for which u need to prepare is less andsince u r working too..... So

1) Go for the Recent Case Laws/Amendments/Circulars of Board relevant for nov. 11 exam......which shall be uploaded at institute's site very soon,also do the amendments for May 11 since ,since they too are equally imp.

2) Get Vinod gupta sir's notes... since his notes are self Explainatory and easy to understand

3) Prepare urself for the imp. and Topics which have not been asked .

4)I think ur Practical knowledge shall help u since conceptual and Practical knowledge based ques are in trend,, So sharpen ur knowledge more and get acquinted with the Latest changes in Forms spl E filing and Appeallete Matters.
