Firstly, abundance thanks for providing such a platform where any query can be posted without any hesitance. :)
I am Parul Agarwal, currently pursuing my articleship.
I have written my IPCC in May'12 and my Final attempt falls in May'15.
My question is when is the right time to take coaching for Final.
My major hiccups are:
1. Portion for subjects such as Direct Tax, Indirect Tax may change, which we can't begin now. Moreover, with the IFRS coming up, we can't start on Advanced Accounts as well.
2. Right now I have 2.5 years (Jan-May'15), but I'll have to plan accordingly as I have
a. B.Comm 2nd and 3rd Year lined up
b.15 days GMCS 1 course coming up in the first year of articleship
c.2 full fledged audit season (Apr-Sept'13 and 14) where studying and taking coaching becomes a very strenuous task.
3. There are 8 subjects and I don't prefer self study. Each subject& coaching takes min. 1-2 months.
Thus, you may think I am getting a little paranoid in this regard but I do not want to leave any stone unturned in achieving my target of clearing Final, both groups in the first attempt.
