Hello khusbhu,
Yes the same shall be taken to Equity shareholder A/c for wriiting off the same, as the same does not become part of Purchasing compnay, when amalgamatiion is in nature of purchase.

Yes, in case of amalgamation in the nature off purchase statutory reserves created by selling conmapny is shown under Equity Shareholders Account.
