Dear Friends, I am converted to CA Final New from Old syllabus. I am confuse about the topic MARGINAL COSTING, is it in the syllabus for May 2011 attempt or not.
As per ICAI circular on 25th jan issued on ICAI's site this chpater need not be studied by old syllabus student.
Kindly guide me....... plz

marginal costing is every where other than in Stand costing & QT...
Marginal costing is a base for almost everything in Costing......Dont drop it.
in new course of Advanced Management Accounting - Cost Volume Profit Analysis chapter and Profitability analysis - Product wise / segment wise / customer wise are based on marginal costing only.
IFRS FOR MAY 2011 CA FINAL APPLICABLE OR NOT
