05 July 2010Recently i heard that some central minister has opined that, the CA exams will have to be conducted by Universities, is this a true message or not. Not only CA, even ICWA, CS etc, all professional exams will be assigned to universities by carrying required amendments to the professional laws. I want to know the pros & cons of this statement made by minister.

the minister in our country have only one job to do
"make an impressive statement"
they don't have the time to analyse it becoz they are preparing for another statement.

Of course this initiative is unacceptable. This looks like a situation in where one can find people selling CA certificates without appearing for the exams (Like other degrees). These exams should be conducted by the institutes as they are done now. So that people who get through these courses get recognition in the society. Till today, these courses have its own value. Hope this initiative does not materialise.

With so many universities coming up. Each one will have its own set of syllabus to set standard for this profession. There is no uniformity in the way where students are trained to become professionals in these fields. So this will have adverse impact on the quality of profession. People tend to lose faith on these professionals as these professionals are known for the high quality integrity and independence.

WHATEVER IT MAY BE A RUMOUR OR TRUTH BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE IMPLEMENTED.
