CAs has los it relevance.My heart goes out to those who after years of struffle have got a degree and now struggling to find a job.Either they are unemployed or underemployed.what isthe use of degree who does not something in return.everybody do degree with some expectation but these ca degree was never tough.i have nothing against ca because i am myself a ca.hope these condition improve in 2013.otherwise there are all tunnel no light.

Yeah certainly the value of CA is declining because of people who are spreading rumours like this. There were instances earlier where topics of this kind were posted. Need to repeat the same sentence again.
It is not just the qualification that is going to give you everything. At the end of the day , that skills and the essential qualities you possess are those which matter.
Stop blaming the degree and try to Analyze yourself for not having got a job.

Today company need ca who r excellent in all field muct possess good skill,having knwldge of latest accountng packages etc..dear today competition is too big.even bcom class guy give competitin to a ca..so better to enhance & update yr knwldge..dont blame ny1 for yr weakness..

if you cant find a job than u dont have self confidence to start ur own practice. if you
have done your articleship with sincerity than u would have confidence to start ur own practice.
atleast specialise in one field so that u become a master...passing and getting degree is required with
work experience.....understood...my suggestion is specialise in idt because only advocates and consultants practice it & not many cas take it up... for eg....one vat audit in maharashtra easily fetches

INCREASING PASS PERCENTAGE OF CA HAS REDUCED THE VALUE OF CAS DRASTICALLY
NOW CAS ARE TREATED AT PAR WITH B.COM , MBA AND CWA GUYS...
AND REGARDING SETTING UP OF PRACTISE THERE ARE N NUMBER OF SMALL FIRMS IN MY LOCALITY

Hi everyone,
I wanna Share my views .. CA degree is going in declining phase that is partially true to some extent..
Now people are passing just like that. So the members count increased tremendously. But industry
is unable to absorb all of them @ once with high salaries.
Importance of reference :
These days for getting job U need reference .. Sitting at home and expecting a interview call doesn't
really serve the purpose.
Fact :
All the MNCs hire, 80-90% of jobs through Internal referrals. hardly 10-20% through consultancy and
walk-ins. Myself I am about ot complete articles in E&Y, there 90% of placements are through referrals.
Most Importantly, when organisations are in the pace of recruiting CAs, and at same time if u knock
thier door step, u r almost selected.
Soultion :
So please understand the fact about referrals and try to get good referrals and get in to good
companies. Once u get a start in a good MNC, the experience and the culture over there will make u to
take next step in u r career.
