CA COLLEGE or CA Coaching Centre ?

i have been seeing advertisements of a CA coaching centre in AP in Telugu News channels proclaiming that it is the BEST CA COLLEGE in india. Don't they even know the difference between a COLLEGE and a PRIVATE Coaching Centre ? Are these people going to give coaching to Future Chartered Accountants ? Folks, i know that CA is a Correspondence Course and there are no colleges for it. The PRIVATE COACHING CENTRES (Especially in andhra) are deceiving the common public who are not much aware of this course. i think we students should form as a group and strongly condemn such fradulent and misleading acts. What do you say friends/ Respected fellow caclub members ?

you can find many colleges in tirupati,which gives good coaching for CA.

Colleges in tirupathi for CA ??????????

PLEASE NOTE that they are not COLLEGES , they are only coaching centres.

coaching centres are unrecognised and uncontrolled and do not offer any Degree unlike colleges that are controlled by some university or the other.

Hi Vashisht,

I agree with ur point!!But nowdays many private colleges providing graduate courses also provide part time coaching for Professional courses like CA CWA etc.For eg.In chennai MOP vaishnav college provide part time coaching for CWA.This i think should be the case in AP!!!

But, even then, by saying college they compel students to join their coaching centre’s…..i mean they act as if Coaching is Compulsory………That I think is wrong and misleading……........................................

Regarding your example of MOP Vaishnav College in Chennai….it’s a Degree college offering B.com, B.sc, B.A, BBM, and BCA …..But still how can they call it a college for CA whereas NO college exists for doing CA.........CA, as you know, is a Correspondence Course……..and there is no college for it...................................................

Because of these people, who call a coaching centre a college…….many CA students face questions like……1. In which college are you doing CA? 2. In which year of CA are you in?.........................

And coming to the case in AP……They are not even private colleges………they are only coaching centre’s run by private people with Huge profit motives.......!!
