CA (certainly achievable)

(Guest)

CA means not come again it just means Certainly Achievable...

Positive Attitude, Regular study, dedication..  is what required.....  infact these may be easy to put into words.... but not that much easy to do......   I have read many articles in CACUBINDIA  where by reading some will get motivated & some will get scare... some may get other thoughts......  my experience rather i can say it as my opinion by reading those articles...  Simply they are complicating the Profession..... not blaming & trying to find out the fault..... bakwaas bandh karo yaar....  just suggest how to & what to & when to, the patterns, presentation in the exam, lyk dat it may be good... i think if i had hurt anyone...  hmmmm

The path to becoming a Chartered Accountant is not easy. The road is very difficult and involves a
lot of hard work. I remember the time when I was aspiring to be a Chartered Accountant. Looking
at the volume of studies, I often wondered whether I would ever be able to complete it all in time!
Well from my experience, I think that if you focus on your study with single-minded devotion,
then nothing can stop you from succeeding. Each one must learn from past mistakes. For those
who could not get through previous exam, don't lose hope. Instead, take an honest look at
yourself. You must accept that there has to something wrong in your approach towards the exam.
Identify your shortcomings and overcome them. There is no one common reason for failure. All I
can do is provide some basic hints that might help you secure good marks. There is no shortcut
to success. And there is no substitute to hard work. But hard work must be in the right direction
in order to yield the fruits of success. The study material and suggested answers published by the
Institute are of high quality and should be read thoroughly. But, it is very important to take note
of subsequent amendments, if any. The CA exams require high quality answers. Unnecessarily
lengthy answers will be a definite minus point. Here are a few tips that will help you:
1. Learn to strike a balance between work and enjoyment. Study very seriously but allot some
time for any leisure activity that makes you feel relaxed.
2. Aim for a rank. That way you will at least get through with good marks.
3. Remember hard work (rather than Smart Work) always yields good results.
4. Start your preparations from Day One (Early Preparation).
5. Plan out your study methodology well in advance and stick to your plans. Keep enough time
for unexpected time delays (No one plans to fail, but fails to plan).
6. If you are aiming for a Rank, read the study materials in entirely (Read Only Materials). Don't
leave out any portion. Further refer to some standard text books as referred by ICAI.
7. Concentrate on the subjects that you find difficult.
8. Make notes that will help you to quickly cover the vast syllabus on the day before the exam.
9. Make writing a habit. And write legibly.
10. Get enough practice in practical subjects.
11. If you are not interested in a particular subject, then Read Some thing of every thing or Every
thing of some thing.
12.Don't expect a specific format of the question paper for a professional exam of such calibre.
Just keep in mind the marks allotted to each subject - because that's what will not change.
13. Presentation is what matters most. Present your answers in a neat and systematic manner.
Remember, the easier it is for the examiner to read your answers, the more marks you get.
14.Read a lot of related material like newspapers, periodicals, magazines, etc so that your
knowledge is updated. This will help you get better marks in the exam.
Remember 5 things:
1. IF NOT YOU WHO ELSE WILL PASS, IF NOT NOW, WHEN ELSE YOU CAN PASS.
2. WHERE THE DETERMINATION IS GREAT, THE DIFFICULTIES CANNOT BE GREAT.
3. WE SHOULD NOT LET FAILURE GO INTO OUR HEART, AND SUCCESS INTO OUR HEAD.
4. “CA” DOES NOT MEAN COME AGAIN, BUT IT ONLY MEANS “CERTAINLY ACHIEVABLE”.
5. THREE YEARS OF HARD WORK COULD LEAD YOU TO 30 YEARS OF BLISS. BUT IF YOU
PLAN FOR THREE YEARS OF BLISS, YOU WILL END WITH 30 YEARS OF SELFDEFEATING
SLOG.
☺ ALL THE BEST ☺
