CA Articleship - I Read an Artilce in website CAclub india that: The mandatory articleship for aspiring Chartered Accountants in India may soon become less tedious as students may be allowed to work in non-audit companies such as KPOs, asset management companies and hedge funds etc. to complete their articleship. CA students would have an opportunity to work with non audit companies and earn market remuneration during their articleship. Is this news true if yes when it will be applied to the current CA course.

hi nirav.. this is just at the proposal stage.. and icai takes a lot of time to make things effective ... for e.g. it took 4 months for articles enhancement... so we will have to wait for few months before anything is finalised

Hey Chanchal wat r da chances for this 2 happen ? Wat u think ? I think if it happen it will create great advantages for students who join CA course after B Com.

hellooooooooo Actually i wanted to know are there any chances ofa person to get articles in a big or medium size firm who has clear CA PE- II in his/her Third or Fourth Attempt

hi nirav.... once again.. this proposal is getting mixed responses from industry.. ca firms are opposing it bcoz they will loose articles ... which r so cost effective.. but at the same time industry and students r welcoming it .. my personal opinion is d8.. students interested in doing mba in finance after ca will greatly benefit from it.. but students who want to make career in traditional ca fields like audit and tax.. shud do articles from ca firms only..

HEY FRENDS DONT U THINK DAT PERIOD OF ARTICLESHIP IS TOO LONG.ITS THE BIGGEST TURN OFF FOR THE ASPIRING STUDENTS.

please help me regarding articleship. can yopu tell me for how long do big firms employ?????? whats the maximum time to do????? n what is this 3 1/2 yr training?/// n which will be the most suitable college to join so that i dont face any problem while training n in pcc tuitions. i hAVE APPEARED FOR CPT IN JUNE 2008.AWATING FOR RESULTS
