i heard news from internal sources that C.A Course is changing soon because exiting student who passed ca is not getting more than 250000 per year . And Institute is thinking to change the course of CPT,IPCC .FINAL. U Can see change course in 2011.

Dear Mr. Sivanesh, Please understand what is being said. Mr Ajay is referring to salary package. I agree with Ajay, starting salary package is around 2.5L.in many cases

Yeah 250000 is the starting package he is mentioning about,he should have put Rs before it. If the change is for the good of all & if the Institute thinks it's going to benefit us all financially then I think we should all support it whole hearthly. But at the same time we would like to see that change is student friendly and that there shouldn't be a situation where the Institute compelles many of us to leave the course mid way.

i have also read it
the levels are going to remain the same i.e cpt,ipcc and final
but as there are going to be wide changes from 2011-12 onwards only some of the papers and curriculum is going to change
changes like implementation of new direct tax code bill,implementation of gst,four new accounting standards and adoption of ifrs and universal accounting procedure

Is ICAI trying to make ca course more tough.
