Have seen senior managers working on corporate budgets.
But I never got an opportunity to work in the budgeting team.
Wonder how budgets are prepared in a company.
Has any one ever prepared a corporate budget?
Would they please mention the procedure?
dear keerthi,
the corporate budgets are prepared in the same manner as are taught in Financial management and costing chapters in IPCC and CA finals. You don't to work on corporate budgeting because most of the cases CA firms do very little of advisory work and focus more on typical audit and taxation work.
The basics will remain same in all the cases. Its all about income and expenses and the expected cash flows!
