is GST levy on brokerage income from Construction works, if assessee's total income is below 20 lakh

Brokerage service is chargeable to GST at 18%.

But applicable to you only if you are registered under GST.

Or if service receiver is registered, he will have to pay it under RCM.

In both the conditions........ it should not be deducted from brokerage.... but has to be collected extra for payment to treasury.......

assessee having total income below 20 lakh will also have to register under GST?
