Yes..It is required..Since some students may score Zero and may score well in other papers may clear the CPT and without knowing the fundamental of Accounting he may be enter with I PCC and may be struggle a lot in that respect..So it is a good decision in my opion

well this is going to be a problem for all the non math students, thank god I cleared in this oct......
and is the negetive marking still there or is it going to be removed?
