Branch transfer

Dear friends

i want to know when HO in Delhi transfers some goods to its branch in Punjab.

then does it fall under supply with no consideraion?

Does head office charges brach anything for supplying goods ?

i dont think it should.

its just sending goods from delhi to punjab for its punjab branch to sell there.

i think its wihtout consideration and branch only needs to pay GST to head office on Open Market Value calculated as per Valuation Rules.

am i right?

please guide.

Make Gst invoice and pay that... Remaining balance is standing in branch account
In Gst they treated as distinct entity

In gst with same pan no two entity formed in two states is treated as distinct entity... So better make sales bill mam

Dear Divakar

But invoice mein to value show karni padti hai aur HO ne to kuch lena hi nahi branch se.

to fir invoice mein kya likhenge. Sirf tax ?

Mam, aap invoice raise kar do na.... Bcz GSTR1 ME wo bina value ke lega hi nahi.... Year end pe branch and HO ka account to reconcile karenge na aap..... Paise to transfer hote honge na branch to HO OR HO TO BRANCH.... SO Mam
As per Rule 28 there is proviso which provides that if branch eligible for ITC then Declared value is taken into consideration not open market value.
