Only one registration is enough, just mention additional places of business in your registration. You can carry on the business with one registration all over india.
Another case is you have to take registration in other state with the PAN and you can open business with same name.
This is not correct. A separate registration is required in every such state or UT where you have to carry out business. Please. Refer section 25 read with section 22 & 24 of the C. G. S. T. Act.

After your registration in other states then you can purchase from URD on other States...
Without inter State registration you can't purchase from URD (inter State)....
