Financial Reporting - Dont follow books, if possible -- Only refer class notes of any good teacher, arrange class notes from your friend (atleast for Holding, Amalgamation and Valuation). Better arrange Praveen Sharma Class Notes (For AS ..refer sanjeev singhal/padhuka) .

SFM - J B Gupta book with DVD Lactures. .

Audit - Padhuka for important and practical topics (For other portion you may refer surbhi bansal) .

Law - Munish Bhandari Handbook (Plus Padhuka for detailed study, if you have sufficient time).

AMA / Costing - Padhuka (or PC Tulsian if you need detailed book) plus Study Material and Practice Manual (It is better prepare your own notes for theory portion).

ISCA - Manish Valechha ISCA Book plus and Practice Manual (The best book ever released for this subject, The book is a short version of study material, covers all, topics.. also includes examples, diagrams, memory codes....) refer Study Material if you have sufficient time but not actually reuired. Use with practice manual only, .

Direct Taxes - T.N. Manoharan Plus Summary Module of Vinod Gupta (Prepare notes for lengthy and typical portion, if possible).

Indirect Taxes - N S Govindan or rafi for Concepts (Padhuka or Banger for detailed Study and past exam questions)

hey dear.. dnt go 4 2 many books.. watev u study from ultimately study material n practice manuals only help d most.. go thru d entire syllabus from study module itslf.. if u r nt undrstndin ne topic thn refr anthr buk 4 dt very topic.. apart frm givin tym in studyin various buks its advisabl 2 follow d study module.. get d concepts n basics at place n solve various rtp n past xam paprs..

for refrnc u cn go wd ths buks:-

FR- u cn refr eithr M.P.Vijay kumar or D.S Rawat for AS. and study module is enf for odr chapters

SFM- J.B.Gupta

Audit , Law and ISCA- strictly refer module itslf..

Cost- Vashisht is nice.. its detaild n helps in undrstndin d basics easily

DT- T.N.Manoharan is gud for refrnc.. its easy n doesnt consumes much of ur tym like odr ref buks

IDT- i refrd several buks bt d language n coverage of study module is d best.. xams are based on d topics elaborated in d institute's module.. odr buks giv imprtnc 2 jst a few topics

Which ever book you refer, do make a point to look at the institute material, practice manual and the RTP. Many of the questions these days are directly pulled out from these. And also for subjects like ISCA, study material is the best option.
