For basics, PC tulsian is good and for practice institute's Practice Manual is best

If u want to make a base, go for P.C. Tulsian.
Its the best book for clearing the concepts.
I purchased the same and just did only illustrations and went for exam and scored 40 out of attempt of 68 because I was not able to complete my exam. To make speed u need to practise a lot which is provided by Padhuka.

Tulsian + Sums from PM should suffice, This time I scored 57 in costing..
ISCA ruined my second group...otherwise would have cleared it. Too close yet too far crying

Institute study material is pretty good. For reference yes, you can refer Tulsian.

PC Tulsian and ICAI practice manual...should be sufficent
