its Raunak from Jodhpur, Rajasthan
we ppl had formed a grup named "HELPING HANDS FOR HUMANITY"..
Its an NGO, engaged in social activities.
we organised a BLOOD DONATION CAMP at Jodhpur on SUNDAY, 9th JAN.,2011
Where we collected 189 units of blood..!!!!
THIS blood has been collected with the association of the UMMAID HOS[PITAL, which is the biggest government hospital for women and children in western Rajasthan AND this will be used for the treatment of 150 children, suffering from THALASSEMIA.
This was our 8th BLOOD DONATION CAMP, & till date, we have gathered 1151 UNITS OF BLOOD.
this donation has become a life saver in many accident and delivery cases.
we are looking ahead for some more better efforts, where we wud be able to save each life, which MIGHT have been lost in want of blood,
HOPING DAT OTHER CA STUDENTS TOO COME FORWARD AND FORM SOCIAL GRUPS, FOR THE BETTERMENT AND SERVICE OF SOCIETY,
