It depends on ur preperations. however there is an advantage in appearing for both groups as you can take benefit of inter group adjustment for passing i.e. if u pass in all papers of both groups but u r falling short of aggregate in one group then marks can be transferred from second group if in excess. so if u think that u have prepared for getting at least passing marks in both groups, u can apply for both groups, otherwise not.

it is better to give both groups simontaneously
if u are preparing for rank can only acheive with both groups
and more marks in one group will give u benifit when there is not enough marks to complete 50% aggragate in one group

Agreed with harsh and sumit as it is better to give both groups simontaneously. But for that you have to work really hard. Good Luck......

Hello friends, as per my experience, it is always better to appear for both groups for the first time we are appearing in exams. The reason being the level of confidence is much higher in the first attempt.

The best way is to judge ourself by solving some past question papers without any help. Then check our knowledge. Time management has the biggest role in preparation. Whether we depend on coaching or self study all this matter.
