JB gupta is no doubt better book than AN sridhar..But AN sirdhar Can be used as a reference..I ve not tried SD bala so cannot actually comment..

but DR JB gupta's book is Advisable.

Out of abv 2 books A N Sridhar (Good for theory & Practical questions not for concept) For self study go for J B gupta DVD lactures plus book..
