For accounts u may go for Compiler plus basics from module and for AS - DS Rawat is a good book and one more thing don't take AS and FORMAT WAlLLE Chapters lightly(Elec. , Banking, Insurance)

ahh wasiq even i bot paduka while preparin for grp 1 in may..i kinda dint like it...its not gud for self study purpose atleast..well dats my opinion..on d other hand i think B.M.Aggarwal is terrific...great for self study (those hu have no tutions) and after attempting accounts for full 100 in may 2010 attempt i can say its realllly mind blowing...n m using P.C.Tulsian for grp 2 i think even dis is gud..dunno bout tulsian for grp 1 tho.. gudluck...
