The best combo for DIRECT TAX.

GO FOR THE SUMMARISED NOTES OF ANY TUTOR AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET AND ALSO GO THROUGH THE QUESTION PROVIDED BY MR. VINOD GUPTA IN THEIR MODULE. IN WAY YOU WON'T LOOSE ANYTHING.

THIS WAY YOU WILL HAVE EDGE IN MANY ASPECTS.WHICH WILL BE REALISED AFTER THE EXAM.

Hi,

I know U got already many of the valuable suggestion though would also like to share my view:

The choice of a book/notes depends on the mode of study; self study or coaching. If its self study go for some detailed book of authors like Singahania/ Girish Ahuja or Manhoran, in the other case V.G. Notes would also suffice however do take a look a study mat as well.

P.S. Compilers are the non avoidable ones. All the Best.

My views are that if you have sufficient time for study Vinod Gupta's modules are best for C.A. Final as it covers many small topics which are being asked in exam now a days and cover only related topics and according to weightage. For exam days summary module of Vinod Gupta is best.
