Or if someone doesn't want to invest so much time learning the stock market then they can just directly invest into mutual funds as well.
Because stock market is a very tricky game altogether.

in the stock market there are two personality of person one is investor and second is trader . as the investors having perspective of long term growth and mulltibegger return while as the traders perspective want to make money in shorter time . traders generally using deffirent method say short selling, intraday trading , future and options in stock and index , also they trade in currency derivative . the stock market is the place where you can get abnormal return but subject to that it is must be taken in a systamatic way. for better understanding of concept i here attched the file "basic of stock market " which give you clear picture of stock market.

in the currency derivative is the same as the derivative in the stock and index .one can trading in currency by future contract or call buy or call sell or put buy or put sell . here also using the stoploss for defending of your trade . also one can hedging of positions though institutions. the trading facility of currency derivative is provided by both stock exchage bse and nse.

It has really a good potential in the primary market. Especially during these period wherein people are crazy about IPO's Plus the PAYTM has got the Combination of Name & Fame. Personally I blive its wont be good for long holding as the it has competitive playing field in the Indian Market

One must understand the strategies too. Ignoring the rosier picture of the financials depicted. You must analyse the company by going through it Audit Report and should consider all data along with the Financial Data

We invest in stocks to enhance our wealth over time. While some people consider shares to be a dangerous investment, several studies have shown that investing in the appropriate share for a lengthy period of time (five to ten years) may deliver inflation-beating returns — and be a superior investment alternative than real estate and gold.
People have both short term and long term strategies in case of investing in the share market. While stocks can be volatile in a short period of time, buying in the appropriate shares can help traders win quickly.
A share market is comparable to a stock exchange in multiple aspects. The main distinction is that a stock market allows you to exchange financial products such as bonds, mutual funds, derivatives, and company shares. A share market solely allows for the trading of shares.
