All E-Commerce operators need to obtain GST registration u/s 24 provided they are required to collect tax at source(TCS)u/s 52. E-Commerce operator not being an agent are required to collect TCS @ 1% from the net value of taxable supplies made through the E-Commerce Platform. The tax will have to be collected on payment to vendors which will subject to reconciliation at a large stage. The TCS amount collected bt the E- Commerce operator must be deposited to the Government by the operator within a period of 10 days after the end of the month and required to file the returns GSTR8.He must also file an electronic statement containing the details of all amout collected by him for the outward supplies thr' this portal.
Person who is already registered under GST as normal Taxpayer and doing business as normal seller, now if he want become online sellers too on Amazon, than that Person is not required to take any seprate registration but you have to do amendments in your normal registration, and add the place of Amazon gowdown at which you will keep your stock as additional place of business.

And while filing GST return you have to separately show that sale along with e commerce operators name/number in you return.

TCS is also collected by Amazon if Amazon will collect payment on behalf of you and than pay to you, you can claim that TDS online.
