Do you know that, Even after passing your CA examinations you might not get a job, and this is what's happening in the current scenario? The vacancies for the CA posts are abundantly available but the problem is we do not have competent CA's, we have qualified CA . You must be knowing that even rank holders in the CA examinations are not getting proper high-paying jobs in big companies. You people would have heard that EDUCATION IS THE PASSPORT FOR THE FUTURE. This can be possible only if u have undergone into proper education. The problem in the CA profession is not with our mother body which is best known as ICAI, rather it is with the coaching institutes. They prepare for only passing the examinations perspective but not for passing in life. In Costing, we are taught on Joint and By-Products. The common example told is Sugarcane and Molasses. Now I am asking you, can you name any five other examples for that are manufactured as Joint or By-Products? We study about Shareholders and Board Meetings as just part of our Syllabus. Are you aware which major company has held its AGM and how did it go, who are their Chartered Accountants? We are made to solve many problems from company accounts. When was the last time you saw the P&L and Balance sheet of a real company, say Reliance or Tata? When we were kids, we wanted to know everything. There is a lot of excitement and curiosity. Why is the sky blue, What are Stars, Who is this Who is that.. Bring back all that excitement and learn everything out of curiosity, but not to just finish it. The point to be remembered is that even MBBS is for 5 years where students are taught practically by performing different types of medical surgeries and complications, that are likely to happen in different situations. Then only a student will be confident of doing operations. Do not let the world to show you the finger and say that your PASSPORT is not real. Try to be a competent CA, but not just qualified CA. Doing the Right thing is not enough. You have to do it Right.
