It can be calculated as per company payroll........
1) You may calculate Basic 50% of Gross Salary
22,000*50%= 11,000/- (As per your choice)
Calculate HRA 50% if Metro City. Not Metro City 40% ( It is not mandatory that you have to calculate 50%/40% on Basic but HRA should not be more than 50%/40%
11,000*50%= 5,500/-
Remaining amount you may declare as CIty Allowance
22,000-11,000-5,500= 5,500/-
