Hello,
I'm filing ITR for a person whose account no. 14 digits. It gives an error like '5.02E +13'. But when I fill an ITR for a person who account is of 12 digits, it goes through smoothly. Whats the deal?

If the 14 digit account number starts with 0000 or 000 do not show first two zeros.
Thanks

Two extra zeros in the beginning of the bank account number. Remove them.

I guess you are filing your ITR through excel utility downloaded from income tax website. You account number is lenghty thats why excel automatically converts it into different language. It is just a formula problem. Select the autofit selection.

There are no zeroes in the beginning of my account no. And how to autofit the selection?
