The 10 lakhs transaction is for reporting to ED for AMLA. Here the reporting can be for less also depending on the conduct of your account. For Savings Bank, the interest paid will be reported against your PAN Number to ITO as interest on which no TDS is done. These days your ITO while assessing income has data of Non TDS interest also and will satisfy himself that you have returned all this accurately in your tax returns. If your balance has been consistently 20 lakh with no significant credit coming in, then only the interest earned is reported separately. This is also for FDs where the value of FD is over 50,000 and TDS is not done on account of it being below TDS limits.
