Will any one tell what assessment year (Income Tax)is applicable for IPCC exam to be held in May 2010 n Tax rates applicable

Basic Exemption
- Senior Citizens      Rs.2,40,000/-

- Women                   Rs.1,90,000/-

- Others                     Rs.1,60,000/-

        to 300000 @ 10%

300000 to 500000 @ 20%

500000 and above @ 30%

Dear Mr. Deepak Gupta, This forum is for the extension of knowledge. One may ask question for himself or he can also ask questions that may be useful for others. I asked this question(in student section) coz I think that it is important for the students who are going to appear in May 2010 exam.

AY 2010-11 as mine in June 2009 was AY 2009-10 and in november 09 too it will b 2009-10

for u May 2010 - AY 2010-10

and november 2010 - AY 2010-10
