I DONT WANT TO SAY ICAI SUCCKKKKKK BUT I ADD UP SOME TECHNICAL WORD

SYSTEM KO CHANGE KARNA HOGA BECOUSE MAI YEH DEKH RAHA HU jab se CPT and IPCC aaya hai ca ki value to nahin lekin nobody intrested in CA i think in next yr i want to create my compaign not against the icai but against the system of icai 1)becouse ek taraf toh hum ca ko itna badiya course mante hai aur humari communication skill eekkkkdddddddum bakwas hai yeh to chhodo me jaha articlrsip kata hun us firm me to ca ko english bolne hi nahi aati hai pata nahi sala system me change kab aayenga

2) jaise engg. and medical ke college hote hai waisa college hi banwa dete and wahi se placement karwate toh kitna acha hota lekin kon samjhaye sale sab pagal hai

3) sala 1000 me toh murda bhi nahi jalta hai yaha jinde ko 1000 stipend rakha hai from 1989

4)i think in future AUDIT work will be done by MBA (finance) from IIM student

5) aur me yeh bhi dekha hu ki generally job ke 3 criteria toh compulsory hai:-

a)CA in 1st attempt

b)graduation from good college (only for commerce student)

c)articlesip from big 4m

We have to develop employability skills like communication skills, personality development, command over English and most importantly we have to value ourselves. If we don't get job, we should create them using knowledge of ca course and degree as backbone. When a b.com student can survive in corporate then who can stop us if we want. We have to develop confidence on ourselves. We are the best in our field.

all this is happening because of the increased passing percentage and easy question format...earlier this was not the case..earlier the passing percentage was harly 5-9%..the question pattern was diificult..that time only the real bright ones made it thru CA..now i see even the not so deseving candidates pass the exams...direct questions are asked from RTP(around 28-30%),particularly in subjects like DT and IDT..the level oc CA has degraded..institute is creating more CAs than the industry demands..they are getting commercialised

i dont find GMCS and ITT training of any relevance...proper articleship will provide youthat knowledge anyhow

very true.... gmcs & itt just for formality purposes......no relevance.. better if they remove them & try something new in upcoming time... ICAI need to do change in systems.........

BIGGEST ENEMIES OF CA FRESHERS ARE- CA, see how.........

we know ICAI keeping avg 15% result from last 3-4 attempts, but we have go on biggest reason behind it,

so eloborate this 15% consider it as 100%

industry demand is just 5% , (518/9382)

wants to do practice as per own wish (assumed 4691 as per old trend & need in society) 4691 which comes to (50%) as

now think why ICAI passed 9382 students while the actual need was only 518+4691= 5209

excess pass outs no. is 4173( which is 45% of total freshers)

now this 45% community are under trouble either they have to move towards very low paying industry jobs OR sit idle & the most choosen option is they engeged with ca firm where they have did articleship ((ICAI also want this & fresher have to choose this bcoz they dont have any other option). reasons are1. familiar with work, mates, etc 2. not much difference in payscale becuase ca firms also paying appx 20K to them ........

so guys i think the biggest enemy of ca freshers is ICAI old fellows because they passing extra candidates for their own comfort , bcoz they practising from very long time they want to free from their work..

they making us laborious by giving just 20K for working of more than 50k or somewhere more than 50K ....

big & old(some NOT all) fellows of ICAI treating us "business products" & they are decreasing value of CA just for their own comfort by keeping higher % pass result ..........

3 major factors. 1) we get shortcut in form of coaching classes and notes etc so most of the students not referring good ref.book and it affects quality of CA. 2) CPT k bad aship milna b mushkil ho gaya tha to dummy articleship boht students ne k he and kafi students CA ban b gaye honge that means practical experience is lacking. And 3) just checkout data of no.of students "appeared" before may,10 AND after NOV,10(first attempt of final who passout through CPT) it is almost double. So 15% is actualy 30% coz number of students are double now. Nd solution is PE-I wapis aana chaiye, GMCS is not effective coz 15 din me ni sikhaya ja sakta sab kuch. GMCS ko ek subject bana dena chaiye phir dekho students kitni mehnat karte he ispe.

-Dude let me tell you CA course is one of the best course for a commerce student in india you are available with. For you who is talking about Communication skills its better you first improve ur english, grammer & spelliings since i think you dont know what to write & how to express your issue.

- ICAI is a professional body who is looking into important matters the financial world is deealing into & they are not free enough to provide a spoon feeding as to how to improve your communication skills so better keep that matter from ICAI ambit.

- For others points you have mentioned let me tell you that its ultimately upon you , how to want to deal with your career, i would mind whether ever you have opened any professional book for any reference , instead of posting some stupid type questions on CCI.

- Why companies asking for Big 4 internship is because there level of knowledge is much higher & advanced as that of normal internship articles, because they are referring to all the current & critical matters regularly & that to seriously instead of doing CCI (Just like Facebook).

So better keep the debate aside & improve ourself to the level we are able to deal in corporate world rather than saying what ICAI have done for all of us.

The problems are : 1. CA's vast curriculum which focuses more on learning than analysis and planning;

1. Bad structure of 3.5 long year article training, which is way lower at quality and learning prospects and tailor made for only those who want to Practice/work in CA firm. what about those who want to make career in Industry?

1. Mismatch and a huge gap of Industry requirement (Qualities and working knowledge, industry want) and current supply (Qualities and article training, a CA fresher have).

1. No common platform for CA fresher to get job, which should be provided by the institute. How can ICAI charged such higher fees from employer in campus recruitment, and ICAI says that it is a non profit organization..simply ridiculous.

1. No initiative by the ICAI ever for getting its students opportunities.

1. Non initiative of Industries to invest on CA fresher on their training as per industries needs....CA can work in many areas besides auditing, finance/accounts, taxation.....they can also work in areas which are dominated by MBA's.....only need good training....Industry want CA's totally equipped with every quality (CA + MBA)...

ICAI and Industries should come together, understand the issues and please do something meaningful.

Thanks to our Indian education system which based on theoretical form of study rather than practical form of study, which are causing the distance between the supply (theoretical knowledge) and (practical/working knowledge).

I am CA (may2011), CWA(2009), CS completed group I/II (dec2011), I was working in CA firm for 1 year, from where I did my CA training, for simple reason that I did not get any opportunity during my work in firm. In short, I have been looking for job for last 14 month and I am jobless for last 4 month.....I am 27 year old..what should I do..where is my career going??

Mr Santosh Sharma

I dont want to comment upon about the grammer,spellings or any other skills of manish, my concern is instead of critisizing the ICAI why not one should improve his/her self.

BTW for giving an opinion one should use a language according to the level of the portal where you are expressing your opinion. This is a professional site & not the portal like Facebook where everyone will like your so called college style.

Once again i will say better improve ourself rather than blaming ICAI. If the self improvement lacks the future will be worse than what it is now. So this is a alrming situation.

PS: Mr Santosh better look at the present practical scenario rather than taking the side of Mr. Manish.
