I want to know that can an Auditor reduce its audit fees, on which amount he was appointed.
I will make a brief on the matter:-
Auditor was appointed as first auditor of the company and his fees was 50000/- Rs. But the company has not done any business in the financial year.
So please guide me in this matter that whether an auditor can reduce its professional fees?

yes ,an auditor can reduce his audit fees but he can not reduce his scope of work as an statutory auditor.his responsibilities will remain the same regarding final accounts of the company .
