Is it compulsory to appoint the auditors for a period of 5 years. Is it possible to appoint only for one financial year as was being done previously? | ![]() |
No Audit firm would be appointed for a period of more than 2 terms of 5 consecutive years, subject to the ratification by the members at every Annual General Meeting. Another Auditor may be appointed in his place after a year, provided a SR is passed in the AGM and after due approval from the Central Government is taken.
